PURPOSE:To improve failure detection accuracy in a car having multiple car height detectors by judging that either detector is in failure when one detector detects a car height change but the other detector does not detect a change for a predetermined time or longer. CONSTITUTION:Outputs of a front wheel car height detector 1, a rear wheel car height detector 2, and a car speed detector 3 are fed to a microcomputer 4. If the microcomputer 4 judges that a car is running based on the car speed, it checks the presence of a change in inputs from the car height detectors 1, 2. If either one of the detectors 1, 2 detects a change but the other does not detect a car height change for a predetermined time or longer continuously, the microcomputer 4 judges that at least one of the detectors 1, 2 is in failure, outputs a faiure judgment signal, displays it, and generates an alarm. According to this constitution, failure detection accuracy can be improved. |
