PURPOSE:To provide an automatic operation of a cooking stove by a method wherein a temperature sensor for detecting a temperature of an item to be cooked, means for controlling a heating operation, a mode setting part for setting a cooking mode and a timer setting part are arranged. CONSTITUTION:A temperature of an item 37 to be cooked is inputted to a control part 23 from a temperature sensor 11 in such a way that it may be controlled to a cooking mode set by a cooking knob 15 and then a heating power is controlled by a calorie control part 36. Therefore, if cooking mode is set at the mode setting part 14 and a time is set at the timer setting part 16, a heating control means 36 is operated with an output from the calorie control part 44 through a control part 23 with a temperature signal of the temperature sensor 11 and a control over a heating power for a proper cooking and a finished time or the like can be carried out, with the result that a troublesome heating adjustment can be eliminated and an automatic operation of the cooking stove can be attained.
