PURPOSE:To contrive to prevent the breakage and scattering from occurring and at the same time enable to give the fashionability by covering the outer surface of a tubular matter with a film by heat shrinkage by a method wherein the relaxation rate i specified in a heat shrinkage stress relaxation curve of a label film after being heated, which is used for covering the tubular matter such as glass bottle, metal can or the like by heat shrinkage. CONSTITUTION:Stress relaxation rate Y in a heat shrinkage stress relaxation curve of a tubular synthetic resin label film after being heated at 100 deg.C for 2min, is 0% or less. The stress relaxation rate Y is obtained from a formula Y(%)=(A-B)X100/A, in which A(kg/cm<2>) represents the stress due to the heat shrinkage just after heating and B(kg/cm<2>) represents the maximum stress after the heat shrinkage. Crystalline ethylene-propyrene random copolymer, vinyl chloride resin (degree of polymerization is 500-2,000) or the like is employed as said synthetic resin. If a glass bottle or the like is labeled with a label film, the above-mentioned stress relaxation rate of which is larger than 0%, and left for the flight of time, slackness of the film or opening of the end of the film develops because of the relaxation of the stress in the film. |
