This invention concerns an arrangement for testing a sample, and comprises a fluid inlet means with a corresponding inlet and an outlet opening, a filter device, which is placed under the inlet means and provided with at least one reaction zone for receiving fluid from the inlet means, and at least one periphery zone connected with the said at least one reaction zone, absorbent material connected only to the periphery zone in the filter device, and a holding means for holding the filter device in place under the fluid-inlet means so that the said at least one reaction zone receives fluid from same. It concerns also an improved diagnostic arrangement for analysis determination, whereby the arrangement has a cylindrical body part and a removable cap mounted thereon. The cap has a fluid inlet which extends into the cylindrical body part and is fitted with a conically-shaped section which leads to a fluid-outlet opening in same. A prefilter can be placed in the fluid inlet or in a prefilter container which can be used together with the arrangement. The prefilter container has an essentially cylindrical body which matches and can be inserted into the fluid-inlet-forming part of the removable cap. The container has an open upper end with removable cover, a bottom end which is sealed with a fragile material and, if required, a prefilter which is placed in the container between the upper and lower ends. When the container is filled with fluid, it can be inserted into the fluid inlet, whereupon a puncturing device connected to the fluid inlet will tear open the fragile material which seals the lower end and allow the fluid to pass, via a funnel, to a reaction zone over a filter which has been placed alongside or beneath the outlet opening. Outlet openings of various sizes can be formed in the removable caps, whereby a specific cap can be connected to an arrangement for a specific sample.
