PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering device in which enlargement and weight increasing of the device can be suppressed.SOLUTION: In an electric power steering device in which a steering structure is housed in a first housing 10 and a reduction gear 7 for reducing the output of an electric motor 5 that generates a steering assist force is housed in a second housing 20, supposing the axial line of a second output shaft 6 which is an assist-side pinion shaft as a first axial line A1, the axial line of a worm shaft 7a constituting the reduction gear 7 as a second axial line A2, and a virtual surface which is in parallel with both axial lines A1, A2 and passes on the second axial line A2 as a borderline reference surface BL, one among three connecting parts 11 to 13, 21 to 23 provided for connection of the housings 10, 20 is arranged in the area of the worm wheel side 7b from the borderline reference surface BL, and the remaining two are arranged in the area opposite to the worm wheel side 7b of the borderline reference surface BL. |
