PURPOSE:To maintain the good circularity of the inner edge of a ring and improve cutting accuracy by tensioning a narrow and thin steel plate or a ring with many steel strips radially arranged. CONSTITUTION:A ring-shaped thin steel plate is made into a narrow ring-shaped steel plate or a ring 1. Many steel strips 2 as hardened or heat treated are radially arranged, centering toward the ring 1, and the outer ends thereof are fixed to a ring-shaped frame 6 by using a pin 5. In this state, the ring 1 is tensioned with a uniform strong force by using a tensioning jig, the circularity of an inner cutting edge for a hard material is kept in a good condition and the cutting accuracy thereof is improved. In this case, the inner edge of the ring 1 is applied with a powder 3 of diamond or cubic boron nitride by using the electroplating method and the like. |
