PURPOSE:To perform S shape correction well and prevent the occurrence of transverse lines in the center of a picture by setting the inclination at a zero crossing point corresponding to the center part of the picture of a sine wave signal to about zero and adjusting S shape correction in the first half part and the latter part independently of each other. CONSTITUTION:The output signal of a saw tooth wave generating circuit 3 which generates a saw tooth wave signal of a vertical period is supplied to a full-wave rectifying circuit 12. The full-waeve rectifying circuit 12 converts the saw tooth wave signal to a full-wave rectified waveform, and this waveform is supplied to the second full-wave rectifying circuit 13. A full-wave rectifying circuit to which a DC bias is applied is used as this circuit 13 in comparison with the full-wave rectifying circuit 12, and the output of the circuit 13 is supplied to an integrating circuit 14. As the result, a sine signal where the inclination at the zero crossing point corresponding to the center part of the picture of the sine wave signal of the vertical period is about zero is obtained from the integrating circuit 14, and S shape correcting signals in the first half and teh latter of the picture are obtained from a dividing circuit 9. These S shape correcting signals are synthesized with the saw tooth wave and are supplied to a vertical deflecting coil. |
