BILIRUBIN OXIDASE, ITS PRODUCTION AND USE

摘要

A novel bilirubin oxidase produced by a strain belonging to the genus Trachyderma of the class Basidiomycetes and its production, a reagent composition for bilirubin containing said novel bilirubin oxidase, a method for the quantitative determination of bilirubin in test solutions such as biological fluids with said reagent composition, and a method for applying said reagent composition to analytical methods in which the interfering effect of bilirubin needs to be eliminated. The novel substance and method eliminate a number of problems which have confronted the prior art in carrying out methods for the quantitative determination of bilirubin in biological fluids.
