PURPOSE:To enable the production of a slurry in a good working environment free from scattering of dust, by putting powdery phenolic resin in a paper bag made of regenerated paper, etc., and mixing the resin with a large amount of water together with refractory granules and a fibrous substrate. CONSTITUTION:Powdery phenolic resin is put into a paper bag made of paper selected from regenerated waste paper, old newspaper and packaging paper having a basis weight of 35-70g/m<2>. The resin is added and dispersed to a large amount of water together with refractory granules, organic or inorganic fibrous substrate and, if necessary, various additives. The basis weight of the paper is preferably 45-65g/m<2>. The paper bag is wetted and disintegrated in the mixing tank to form a slurry. |
