PURPOSE:To keep a proper distance between a driver and a steering wheel of an automobile by moving back and forth a pedal in accordance with the position of a driver's foot. CONSTITUTION:The pedals 1 are attached to a movable attachment frame 4 which is supported by a partitioning wall 2 and columns 3 and can move back and forth. When a driver sit down on the driving seat and turns on a pedal position control switch, a motor 5 is driven to move the frame 4 back and forth since a gear 6 attached to the motor 5 engages with the teeth 7 formed to the frame 4. Then the drive of the motor 5 is stopped when the pedal position is coincident with the position of the driver's foot. |
