发明名称 AUTOMATIC HANDLING APPARATUS FOR MEASURING SMALL HOLE
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable measurement of high precision by providing a pair of fingers disposed oppositely so that they can move forward and backward with substance to be measured in between, and by setting a sensor for detection on the extension of a common line of axis of rotation. CONSTITUTION:A substance to be measured is set on a table 21, and fingers 8 and 9 are made to approach the substance as indicated by 14 and 15, respectively. The finger 9 makes a die chip 1 contact with the rotary curved surface 5 thereof by the outer peripheral surface 11 thereof and further pushes up the chip 1 to a position whereat the chip is lifted slightly from the surface of the table 21, and it stops at said position. Next, the finger 8 pushes down the rotary curved surface 4 of the chip 1 by the outer peripheral surface 10 at the fore end thereof, and thereby the common line of axis of rotation of the fingers 8 and 9, an optical axis X-Y, accordingly, is made to accord with the line of central axis of a die throat 3. In this condition, a bundle of rays having a diameter larger than the diameter D of the through holes of the fingers is made to enter along the optical axis X-Y from the outside opening of the finger 8, and a transmitted light [a bundle of parallel rays of the outside diameter (d) of the die throat 3] coming out of an opening at the end of the finger 9 on the opposite side is received by a sensor 22, whereby measurement is conducted.
