PURPOSE:A coated granular aromatic amine suitable as a curing agent for polyurethane, capable of preventing change in color caused by oxidation in handling without damaging properties of its own, obtained by boating the surface of granular aromatic diamine with an organic coating agent consisting of a phenolic oxidizing agent and a specific synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION:The surface of granular aromatic diamine is coated with <=25wt%, preferably <=15wt% based on a base agent of an organic coating agent consisting to a phenolic antioxidant (e.g., 2,6-di-t-butyl-p-cresol, etc.,) and a synthetic resin (e.g., urethane, epoxy, etc.,) having >=9.0 solubility parameter. The amount of the antioxidant is <=24wt% based on the base agent and the amount of the synthetic resin is <=50wt% based on the antioxidant.
