PURPOSE:To shorten and economize the communication time by transmitting picture information from the picture center side at a high speed through a transmission line by the input operation of the terminal side and stopping automatically the communication simultaneously with the completion of the high-speed storing work to a microcomputer incorporated in a TV receiver. CONSTITUTION:When an input device 7 of a terminal side 3 is operated, a call signal S1 sets a microcomputer 5 of a TV receiver 6 to the high-speed reception state and passes a transmission line cable at a normal speed to designate and select picture information to a computer 9 in a picture center side 4. Then, an input/output controller 13 and the computer 9 are operated to read out various designated picture information at a high speed, and a high-speed synchronizing signal is added to the beginning of a picture information signal S2 to transmit picture information at a high speed through a transmission line cable 2. The microcomputer 5 acquires the high speed synchronizing signal to store picture information in a storage part at a designated synchronizing high speed when receiving the signal S2 and stops automatically the communication to release occupation of transmission line cables 1 and 2 when receiving an end signal. Next, picture information is read out from the storage part at the normal speed and is displayed on a screen 14.
