PURPOSE:To always make the loading of a specific back tension on an ink sheet possible, by a method wherein to a rotary connecting component rotating by following together with the feed roll when the ink sheet is drawn out, the pressure contact component pressing thereto is so controlled as not to be freely rotated. CONSTITUTION:When an ink sheet 1 and a recording sheet 7 are drawn out and at the same time, a specific image is to be recorded, the one-way clutch of a clutch means 9 on a feed roll side 2 becomes of a free state and the drive force of a motor 3 is not transmitted to a transmission axis 11. Therefore, the feed roll 2 is rotated in the arrow c direction following the drawing out of the ink sheet 1 and its rotation is transmitted from a spindle 2b to a connecting component 10a. Though the pressure contact component 10b pressing this connecting component 10a is rotated in the arrow b direction together therewith following its rotation, the pressure contact component 10b is fixed to the transmission axis 11. If the transmission axis 11 is likely to be rotated in the arrow b direction, the one-way clutch 12d of a control means 12 becomes of a locked state to regulate the rotation. Therefore, the connecting component 10a is rotated sliding to the pressure contact component 10b. Consequently, the load corresponding to the slide friction force between the connecting component 10a and the pressure contact component 10b is applied when the ink sheet 1 is drawn out and a specific back tension is given thereby.
