PURPOSE:To easily handle the titled storing system by starting a RAM when an optical sensor detects an external light beam by opening a cover member. CONSTITUTION:The body 101 of a binder type sheet storing device 100 is fixed on a planar cover member 102 and a liquid crystal display part 103 and an operation part 104 are arranged on the center part. The cover member 102 is constituted of a bottom surface part 102a, a right side surface part 102b, an upper surface part 102c, and a left side surface part 102d. A memory sheet is stored in binding parts 105, 106. When the cover member 102 is opened, the optical sensor of the stored memory sheet receives the external light, so that the RAM in the memory sheet is excited. When the cover member 102 is closed, the RAM in the memory sheet is kept at the waiting status.
