PURPOSE:To execute welding by selecting and supplying a welding wire required for a welding torch, by providing plural coil units, a forward/backward turn feeding device being independent against each welding wire, the branch guide of each welding wire, and the cutting device of the welding wire projected from the welding torch, on a welding device. CONSTITUTION:The welding wire 10 of a small diameter wound to a coil unit 1 is supplied to the welding torch 4 through a branch guide 3 by the forward turn of the forward/backward turn feeding device 5. In this case, the tip of the welding wire 10 is cut by a cutting device 7, and the projecting width of the welding wire 10 is made uniform to a prescribed width. Subsequently, a welding device A is positioned at a welding position, welding is executed by the welding torch 4, and thereafter, a welding ball of the tip of the welding wire 10 is cut down by the cutting device 7, and by the backward turn of the forward/backward turn feeding device 5, the welding wire 10 is drawn back to the wire receiving port 31 of the branch guide 3. Next, the welding wire 20 of a large diameter wound to a coil unit 2 is supplied to the welding torch 4 through the branch guide 3 by the forward turn of a forward/backward turn feeding device 6, and the prescribed welding is executed in the same way as the foregoing.
