PURPOSE:To attain subminiaturization by constituting an antenna element by a straight line half wavelength dipole antenna element and connecting a lumped type converter between a feeding point of said element and an imbalanced type feeder. CONSTITUTION:An antenna radiator constitutes a half wavelength dipole comprising straight line conductors 1a, 1b and input terminals 3a, 3b of a lumped constant type converter 3 are connected between feeding points 2a and 2b. The straight line half wavelength dipole element 1 comprising the conductors 1a, 1b has a dimension decided to be tuned to the center frequency of a low channel. Further, the lumped constant type converter 3 is provided between the feeding points 2a, 2b and a coaxial cable 4, and the balanced reception output at both low and high channels is sent to the cable 4 as an imbalanced signal with a low impedance of nearly 75OMEGA. Through the constitution above, the mounting part of the antenna element of the antenna pole is constituted by a very small-sized block or the like and since the lumped constant type converter 3 is employed, microminiaturization is attained. |
