PURPOSE:To improve reliability in a drying device by a method wherein an actuator to be removed from a sensing line of a flame sensor due to an air pressure higher than the prescribed value is arranged on the sensing line and an abnormal signal is outputted in case of flame failure and when the actuator is placed on the line. CONSTITUTION:In case more than the desired volume of air flows in a burner chamber 10, an actuator 3 is rotated in a direction indicated by the arrow (a) and removed from a sensing line of a flame sensing device 2. At this time, if a flame is formed in front of a burner 1, the flame sensing device 2 is operated and a sensed signal is inputted to the microcomputer 19. If the there is misfire, the flame failure is sensed. In turn, if the air pressure is less than the prescribed value, the actuator 3 is positioned on the sensing line, with light of the flame not reaching the flame sensing device 2 and an abnormal signal is outputted in the same manner as that of flame failure. With this arrangement, it is possible to simplify the configuration of the device. |
