Provided is a drive control device for assisting input precision. The drive control device drives a vibration element of an electronic apparatus including: a position detecting unit that detects the position of an operation input on the operation surface of a top panel arranged at the display surface side of a display unit; and the vibration element that generates vibration in the operation surface. The drive control device includes a storage unit that stores: image data of an input unit which includes a first input unit for an input of a first symbol, to which a symbol displayed on the display unit is inputted, and a plurality of second input units for inputs of a plurality of second symbols which are displayed in the surrounding of the first input unit and which are different from one another; and area data which indicates the position of a first area corresponding to the display area of the first input unit and the positions of a plurality of second areas corresponding to the display areas of the plurality of second input units. The drive control device also includes a drive control unit that drives the vibration element by using a drive signal which generates, in the operation surface, ultrasonic band intrinsic vibration, and that drives the vibration element such that the intensity of the unique vibration changes, when the position of the operation input moves to the outside of the first area and the plurality of second areas, or reaches a boundary between the second areas.
