PURPOSE:To enable clear recording to be performed with favorable reproduction properties and without lowering in print quality in repeated transfer recording, by using at least a waxy compound having a urethane linkage and an aliphatic amide compound as a low melting point wax material constituting a heat-fusible ink layer. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate adhesive layer 22 comprising a polyester resin and a polyamide resin is provided on a base 21 consisting of a polyester film. A heat-fusible ink layer 23 comprising 1pts.wt. of a dye consisting of Kayaset Black as a coloring agent, a low melting point wax material consisting of 2pts.wt. of a urethane wax having urethane linkage, 0.1-1pts.wt. of an aliphatic amide wax and 1pts.wt. of paraffin wax, and 0.5pts.wt. of particulate carbon black having an excellent agglomeration property as a filler which are mixed and dispersed in a solvent such as acetone is provided on the adhesive layer 22 to produce a thermal transfer ink sheet capable of being used repeatedly. Even when transfer recording is repeated multiple times, printed records on a recording paper are free of contamination, and clear recording can be constantly achieved. |
