PURPOSE:To enhance the activity and selectivity of the titled catalyst by adding a soln. contg. >=1 kind of metallic ions other than the metals contained in a deposit in the presence of the deposit of the metal of a specified composition to deposit the prescribed metals, and then calcining the deposit. CONSTITUTION:From a soln. contg. one or >=2 kinds among mono-, bi-, tri-, tetra-, penta-, and hexavalent metallic ions, the metals are deposited. Then a soln. contg. one or >=2 kinds of metallic ions other than the above-mentioned metals is added in the presence of the deposit, and the process is repeated once or several times to form precipitates in multiple stages and successively. After all the prescribed metal are deposited, the deposit is dried and then calcined at 200-1,200 deg.C to produce the composite oxide catalyst shown by formula I (A, B, C, D, E and F are mono-, bi-, tri-, tetra-, penta-, and hexavalent metallic elements, alpha, beta, gamma, delta, epsilon, xsi>=0, and eta stands for formula II). |
