When the addition power (MAD) at the position corresponding to the fitting point (FP) from among the prescription addition powers (ADD) is equal to or smaller than the target addition power (FAD), a slope of the addition power is made constant in a partial region including at least the fitting point (FP) between the progress-start point (PS) and the progress-end point (PE) on the prime meridian.
