In an outer fan type rotating motor, a mounting lubricant receiving member is safely taken out without lubricant scattering. The outer fan type rotating motor is provided with a rotor shaft, a rotor, a first bearing, a second bearing, a stator, a body housing (49), an outer fan, an outer fan cover (46) and a lubricant receiving component (51). The lubricant receiving component (51) is provided with a lubricant receiving part (51a) which is inserted into the body housing (49) through a housing opening (49a) and receives the lubricant that falls from the first bearing for storage, and a lubricant receiving and mounting part (51b) which is detachable to the body housing (49). The outer fan cover (46) is provided with a cover recess part (53) so that the outer fan cover (46) partially clings on the body housing (49). A cover opening (54) which can realize through of the lubricant receiving part (51a) is formed in a range of the cover recess part (53), wherein the area of the cover recess part comprises the housing opening (49a). |
