PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye-sensitized solar cell capable of preventing an electrolytic solution from leaking to the outside due to breakage without deteriorating conversion efficiency.SOLUTION: A dye-sensitized solar cell 10 comprises: a photoelectrode 11 having an oxide semiconductor layer 3 carrying a dye; a counter electrode 12; a charge transport layer 5 disposed between the photoelectrode 11 and the counter electrode 12 and including an electrolyte; and a sealing material 4 disposed between the photoelectrode 11 and the counter electrode 12 and sealing the charge transport layer 5. When it comes into contact with the charge transport layer 5, a viscosity increase material containing layer 13 containing a material for increasing a viscosity of the charge transport layer 5 is provided on at least a periphery of the charge transfer layer 5. |
