PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection nozzle for injecting a fuel into an internal combustion engine, which is improved in a spray penetration power by reducing the pressure loss of the fuel at an injection hole inlet.SOLUTION: A nozzle 1 is provided with bypass means 20 formed by recessing or raising a sack wall face 16 for flowing a fuel toward openings 17 after the fuel followed along an inter-opening wall face 16a. The bypass means 20 includes a groove 22 formed between the openings 17 and extending in the axial direction, and a communication passage 23 connecting the groove 22 and the openings 17. Even in the case where the angle between an upper wall surface 16b and the passage axis of an injection hole 14 is small, the fuel inflow angle can be made gentle by bypassing the fuel along the inter-opening wall face 16a. As a result, the separation of the fuel flow can be hard to be caused to reduce the pressure loss thereby to increase a spray penetration force. |
