PURPOSE:To correctly transmit a signal even when the distance between transmission side and reception side is large or when there is an obstacle therebetween by transmitting signals indirectly sending the second instruction signal and an answer signal making other transmittable slave equipment a repeater when the instruction signal of a master equipment is not transmitted to a slave equipment. CONSTITUTION:In a system in which a master equipment and slave equipments are placed on a straight line, when an answer signal is not received, a slave equipment (B4) judges that an instruction signal is not transmitted, and the signal is transmitted indirectly to the slave equipment (B4) making a preceding slave equipment (B3) a repeater, and an answer signal is also transmitted indirectly to a master equipment (A) through the slave equipment (B3). For the signal transmitted indirectly, a bit indicating indirect transmission is made '1' ('0' in case of direct transmission), and the address of a slave equipment that becomes a repeater is added. The slave equipment designated as a repeater transmits received signals as they are. In the case of an answer signal, a bit indicating indirectness is made '1' and sent to the master equipment by adding the address of the slave equipment that becomes a repeater.
