PURPOSE:To reduce the cost by making the display period of a matrix type display part about 100% of the display period of a synthesizing video signal. CONSTITUTION:In a system in which there are about 140 scanning electrodes T1-T140 in the matrix type display 1/2art 105 and one field is scanned by about 262.5 scanning cycles (H), the respective scanning electrodes overlap the two to three scanning signals of the successive three scanning signals in the two fields of the synthesizing video signal and sequentially display during a 3H and the display period of the matrix type display part is made about 90% of the display period of the synthesizing video signal. In the system for scanning the one field by about 312.5H, the respective scanning electrodes overlap the two to four scanning signals of the successive four scanning signals in the two fields of the synthesizing video signal during a 4H and sequentially display to make the display period of the matrix type display part about 100% of the display period of the synthesizing video signal. Thereby, parts can be made common and the cost can be reduced. |
