PURPOSE:To provide an antistatic agent having anti-fogging properties, which can prevent synthetic resin products from baying electrically charged and filmy synthetic resin products from causing fogging by water droplets, containing a specified alkoxylate quaternary ammonium borate. CONSTITUTION:This antistatic agent having antifogging properties contains an alkoxylate quaternary ammonium borate of formula I, wherein R<1> is a 1-30C straight-chain or branched alkyl or alkenyl group, a phenyl or benzyl group; R<2> and R<3> are each a group of formula II (wherein y is a number of 1-15), a 1-20C straight-chain or branched alkyl or alkenyl group, a phenyl or benzyl group and R<2> and R<3> may be the same or different groups; R<4> is H, a 1-10C straight-chain or branched alkyl or alkenyl, phenyl, benzyl or haloalkyl group; x is a number of 1-15; and R<10> and R<11> are each H, a 1-10C straight-chain or branched alkyl or alkenyl, phenyl or benzyl and R<10> and R<11> may be the same or different groups.
