PURPOSE:To obtain a sheet-form rattrap which is easy to handle and does not pollute the environment, by providing a self-adhesive layer over the whole length of the one side of a long sheet while leaving a marginal part on the periphery in the widthwise direction, placing a release layer upon the self-adhesive layer, cutting the sheet into a predetermined length in the direction perpendicular to the lengthwise direction thereof and re-sticking only the self-adhesive layer. CONSTITUTION:A self-adhesive layer 2 is provided over the whole length of the one side of a long sheet while leaving a marginal part 1 on the periphery in the widthwise direction, and a release layer is provided on the self-adhesive layer 2 to obtain a long sheet-form rattrap. The sheet is cut in the direction perpendicular to the lengthwise direction thereof into pieces which are shorter than the width of the sheet and longer than the length of the self-adhesive layer. Only the self-adhesive layer is re-stuck on the sheet 3 at an angle of 90 deg. with the initial direction so that the self-adhesive layer lies within the periphery of the sheet with respect of the cross section of the self-adhesive layer, the release layer and the sheet. A self-adhesive layer mainly composed of a rubber or a synthetic resin and contg. optionally a plasticizer, a solvent, etc., is used.
