A pharmaceutical preparation useful in alleviating the symptoms of arthritis comprises in combination a fish oil, preferably cod liver oil, and pectin. Additionally, the preparation can include a plant gum and/or Vitamin C, and can be formulated as either an emulsion or as a capsule, or incorporated into a foodstuff such as a yoghurt or salad cream. |
