PURPOSE:To lead the flow of fluid to a random direction by bearing a movable guide vane rotatably in a volute chamber of casing and rotating the movable guide vane at the start of rotation and during rotation of an impeller. CONSTITUTION:Volute chambers 11a, 11b having inlet/outlet ports 14a, 14b at the positions point symmetrical against a shaft 12 in a casing 11 are provided. A movable guide vane 16 is supported rotatably in one inlet/outlet port side volute chamber 11b. When the movable guide vane 16 is rotary operated within a range in the flow direction from fully closed position at the start of rotation and during rotation, the flow can be varied in random direction.
