PROCESS TO SEPARATE NITROGEN FROM NATURAL GAS A cryogenic process to more efficiently separate nitrogen from a nitrogen-containing hydrocarbon stream wherein the separate recovery of natural gas liquids is increased and the final nitrogen removal from natural gas is accomplished at lower than conventional pressures. The nitrogen methane separation column is driven by a closed loop heat pump circuit that utilizes a nitrogen-methane mixture.
