PURPOSE:To enable the recording of the high picture quality without the unevenness of transfer when a fusion type thermal transfer is recorded, by applying the resin obtained by graft copolymerization of alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid or its anhydride with a specific copolymer or hydrogen admixture to the ink accepting face side of a substrate sheet. CONSTITUTION:A coat layer is established by applying the resin 8 obtained by graft polymerization of alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid or its anhydride with styrene.butadiene.styrene block copolymer or hydrogen admixture thereof to the accepting face side of the substrate sheet 7 of an image receiving sheet to be dried. The improvement of the adhesive property of the image receiving sheet 3 onto the fusion part 4 of ink is achieved thereby. As a craft polymerization method, there are a method in which the material is fused and kneaded by using an extruder to be radical-polymerized and another method in which block copolymer is dispersed in the aromatic hydrocarbon solvent of toluene, xylene, etc. in which radical polymerization initiator is fused, joined by alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid or its anhydride, and radical-polymerized by heating. |
