PURPOSE:To obtain the head suitable for high coersive force magnetic media, by using the magnetic substance mixture of specific kind, in the magnetic head coupling the magnetic substance high in the saturated magnetic flux for each operation gap constitution surface of a pair of ferrite cores. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic substances 3 and 4 of high saturated magnetic flux density coupled with the operation gap constitution sides 1a and 2a of a pair of ferrite cores 1 and 2, are formed with the mixture of ferrite and the magnetic substance (sendust and permalloy) higher in the saturated magnetic flux density than the ferrite, and the mixing ratio of ferrite in the mixture is constituted higher at the ferrite core 1(e.g., ferrite is about 100% at the ferrite core 1 and about 0% at the surface 3a and 4a of magnetic substances 3 and 4). |
