PURPOSE:To make it possible to set the compression allowance every time in accordance with the injection molding conditions by a method wherein the shifting of a movable die plate during mold clamping clamping device is freely controlled by supplying pressure oil to a pressure locker and stopping the supply of pressure oil to the pressure locker. CONSTITUTION:When no pressure oil is supplied to inlet 22, a sleeve 19 is under the tightly fitted state so that the shifting of a movable die plate 4 on a tie bar 15 becomes impossible. When the pressure oil is supplied, the sleeve 19 is expanded peripherally so that the shifting of the movable die plate 4 becomes possible and consequently the movable die plate 4 is shifted by a mold clamping cylinder 7. The mold clamping cylinder 7 is stopped by the feedback signal of a positional detector 17, which is issued when a mold part is brought into the state that the predetermined compression allowance (delta) is reached and the movable die plate 4 is locked on the tie bar 15 with the pressure locker 16 by releasing the pressure oil. Molten resin is filled in a mold cavity 14 and, after that, pressure oil is again supplied to the pressure locker 16 and the compression allowance (delta) is reduced by the mold clamping cylinder 7 so as to reduce the volume of the mold cavity. |
