摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low refractive index grain that is suitable for an inorganic filler that is used for a low refractive index layer of an antireflection film.SOLUTION: A grain includes at least a fluoro aluminate compound, has a gap in the inside, and shows an excellent low refractive index. The grain can be obtained from a production method that includes: a first process in which a template grain and an aluminum raw material are made to be coexistent and an aluminum compound is made to exist on a template grain surface; a second process in which the aluminum is made to be coexistent with a fluorine raw material further, and the aluminum compound is converted to a fluoro aluminate compound; and a third process in which the template grain is removed.
