PURPOSE:To improve the anti-roll and anti-dive effect by making one body fitting section of an upper arm a vertically slidable box type and link-connecting it to a lower arm so as to restrict the vertical sliding in the said suspension for vehicle. CONSTITUTION:The body rear side fitting section 3 of an upper arm 1 is restricted in the longitudinal and lateral directions by a bracket 5 and is restricted in the vertical direction by a lower arm 6 and links 11, 12 to the angle of the lower arm 6. At a bound under this condition, a box 4 is moved downward in relation with the rotation of the lower arm 6, and the roll center height and the anti-dive ratio are increased. The change is made small in a region where the bound stroke is small by link mechanisms 11-13, and the change is made large as the stroke is increased. According to this constitution, the anti-roll and anti-dive effect can be improved. |
