PURPOSE:To supply a sharp sampling pulse to a sampling gate by injecting a sampling pluse directly to the sampling gate. CONSTITUTION:The sampling pulses produced from a Josephson device 305 constituting a sampling pulse generating circuit are supplied directly in series to sampling gates 301-304 of a multi-channel Josephson sampler. Then the bias currents applied to the gates 301-304 from terminals 315-318 are set at prescribed levels respectively. Thus the signal waveforms are sampled through the gates 301-304. The sampling pulses are not divided but a single sampling pulse is supplied directly in series by means of parallel lead wires. Thus it is possible to supply a sharp sampling pulse to the sampling gate. Then the resolution is improved for the multi-channel Josephson sampler. |
