<p>In the case of a voltage regulating device for the busbar of a transformer station, the output signal of a voltage regulator (1, 2) predetermines the conductance (YTCR) of a reactive-power source which is continuously adjustable over a limited adjustment range. The operation of this adjustable reactive-power source is intended to be coordinated with the connection of further reactive-power units which can be connected via switches to the busbar and have a rated power which is greater than the adjustment range of the adjustable reactive-power source. For this purpose, an additional control loop (5, 6, 7, 8, 9) is provided which influences the reference variable (UREF) of the voltage regulator (1, 2) with an additional value ( DELTA UREF) such that the set conductance (YTCR) for the continuously adjustable reactive-power source remains in a predetermined range, and such that one of the further reactive-power units is connected or disconnected on reaching predetermined limiting values (K1, K2) of the additional value ( DELTA UREF). <IMAGE></p> |
