PURPOSE:To obtain a high-density image with excellent preservability, excellent thermal sensitivity and, particularly, excellent gradation properties, by using a pigment or coloring agent which is incompatible with a resin for forming a porous structure. CONSTITUTION:A cyan color type oil-soluble phthalocyanine dye is used as a coloring agent, while a thermoplastic resin such as a vinyl chloride resin is used as a resin for constituting a microporous resin structure, and cotton-seed oil or the like which is non-volatile and incompatible with the thermoplastic resin is used as an oil. The thermoplastic substance, the coloring agent and the oil serving for forming the porous resin structure are mixed and dispersed together with an appropriate organic solvent by a dispersing device to obtain a dispersed ink liquid. A solution of the thermoplastic resin in an organic solvent is separately prepared, is mixed with the dispersed ink liquid, the resultant mixture is uniformly dispersed by a mixer, and the resultant dispersed liquid is applied to a base, followed by drying to obtain a heat-fusible ink layer. |
