PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sharpen rising of an output pulse and to promote structure simplification regarding a return electrode structure of a thyratron.SOLUTION: With respect to a thyratron 10 including a flange-like electrode part 12 protruding radially outwards in a plurality of locations of an insulative cylindrical main body 11 in an axial direction, a tabular return electrode 20 being connected to a cathode electrode 14 of the thyratron 10 is disposed in a plurality of circumferentially separated locations in the outer circumferential part of the thyratron while being radially separated from an outer surface 10a of the thyratron 10. A thyratron opposing part 20a of the tabular return electrode 20 is formed along the shape of the outer surface 10a of the thyratron 10 while including the flange-like electrode part 12 in the axial direction of the thyratron 10. |
