PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air wiper suitable for the production of a steel wire having reduced risk in disconnection.SOLUTION: The air wiper comprises: a wire insertion path 31 through which a core wire Ws is passed through; an injection part 33 opened to the upper part of the wire insertion path 31 and injecting air to the core wire Ws at an intersection angle &thetas; tilted in a reverse direction to the passing direction A of the core wire; and an exhaust part 37 opened so as to be confronted with the opening of the injection part 33 and receiving a plating liquid M left from the core wire Ws by air injected from the injection part 33 together with the air. |
