The sealing ring 1 which is welded 2 in the connector 3, is made from a partially vulcanised mixture of a copolymer of ethylene with at least one copolymerizable monomer and 5 to 75%, by weight based on the mixture, of a vinyl or vinylidene halide polymer. The sealing ring may be welded to a fixing ring of vinyl-chloride based resin, which fixing ring is then united with the connector. The welding may be hot plate, ultrasonic, friction or high-frequency, or be effected by heating an embedded resistance. The sealing ring may be made and fixed by co-injection. <IMAGE> |
