<p>PURPOSE:To carry out switchovers of adsorption towers without analyzing gas component, by sensing at least one item of volume, weight, pressure and electric resistance of an adsorbent and switching over directional control valves of inflow and discharge from and into an adsorption tower based on said sensing. CONSTITUTION:Fluid to be treated is flowed into an adsorption tower 1a, and when adsorption is progressed, the volume of an adsorbent 2 is expanded and bellows 4 are stretched to contact with a contact point 3' with the contact point of a limit switch 5, putting an 'ON' command into a control device 8 actuating to close automatic valves 6a and 7a and to open automatic valves 6b and 7b, and the flow of fluid to be treated is switched over to an adsorption tower 1b. In addition to the above, by measuring the variation of weight of the adsorbent 2, the wall pressure of the adsorption tower 1 and resistivity of the adsorbent 2, said valves can be controlled.</p> |
