PURPOSE:To increase a contact area of the working fluid and enhance the diffusibility of the heat from a shade part, by forming the section of the hollow part provided on a shaft part into a star-shape and sealing the opening part, which is connected to a cavity part provided on a shade part, with a lid having a fin. CONSTITUTION:The valve main body consists of a shaft part 10 and a shade part 12, while a hollow part 16, which is connected to an opening part 14 that is provided at the middle of the shade part 12, is formed at the center of the shaft part 10. The inner surface of the hollow part 16 is provided with a large number of projected ridges 18 and recessed grooves 19 alternately so that the section of the hollow part 16 is formed into a star-shape. At the same time, the inside of the hollow part 16 is filled with Na 17 as the working fluid for the heat pipe. On the other hand, an opening end 14 of the shade part 12 is sealed with a lid 20, while a fin 22 is installed to the inner surface of the lid 20, or the bottom of the hollow part 16. With this contrivance, the contact area of the working fluid 17 is enlarged by interaction between the hollow part 16, whose surface area has been enlarged, and the fin, which is installed to the lid 20. At the same time, the diffusibility of the heat from the shade part 12 can be enhanced.
