<p>PURPOSE:To automatize adjusting operation utilizing drafting cylinders, etc., by installing a phase compensator in each hydraulic system of a rolling mill, detecting a deviation in response signal waveforms by inputting a diagnostic signal into each of the hydraulic systems, and changing the characteristic of the compensator in accordance with the phase deviation. CONSTITUTION:Hydraulic systems 100, 200 are provided with major components such as hydraulic cylinders 1, 1' and servo parts 2, 2'. The cylinders 1, 1' are shifted by the servo parts 2, 2' in accordance with a signal (draft control amount) delivered from an automatic thickness controller 7; by that, a gap between rolling rollers is adjusted. The shift amount (phase deviation) is detected by a cylinder position detector 5, 5' and is fed back to the controller 7 through amplifiers 6, 6'. The above phase deviation is adjusted in accordance with an output of a synchronous compensation circuit 11 by the characteristic of phase compensators 10, 10'. The adjusting operation utilizing the drafting cylinders, etc., is automatized and quickened by this device.</p> |
