PURPOSE:To eliminate electromagnetic interference and to facilitate installation by constituting a titled member of a monofilament of melt workable polyester which can form an anisotrophic melt phase or a monofilament assemblage formed by paralleling plural pieces of the monofilaments. CONSTITUTION:The liquid crystalline polyester to be used is the melt workable polyester and has the characteristic that the polymer molecular chains have regular parallel arrangement in a molten state. The more particularly preferable liquid crystalline polymer is slightly soluble in petafluorophenol. The adequate liquid crystalline polymer has generally about 2,000-200,000, more preferably about 10,000-50,000, more particularly preferably about 20,000-25,000 weight average mol.wt. The monofilament of the liquid crystalline polyester is better as the monofilament is finer for the characteristic of its molecular orientation. The electromagnetic interference thereby eliminated and the installation is facilitated.
