PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin film from which a polarizing film having high film strength can be produced even when the film is thin.SOLUTION: The polyvinyl alcohol-based resin film is obtained by forming a film by using a solution containing a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin. A viscosity P (mPa s) of a 4 wt.% aqueous solution of the polyvinyl alcohol-based resin, and a long period L (nm) of a crystal of the polyvinyl resin film satisfy the relationship of expression (1): L<6.7909×ln(P)-17.337.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
