摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the absorbance of a recording film and to execute high density recording based on an optional threshold having a high SN ratio in a recording medium for recording information by radiating energy beams to a recording film and forming a deformation part, by forming a metallic thin layer between the recording film and a substrate. CONSTITUTION:In the optical information recording medium for recording information by radiating energy beams to the recording film from the substrate face side and forming the deformation part, the metallic thin layer 11 is formed between the recording film 12 and the substrate 10. The layer 11 can be formed by sputtering a metallic target consisting of In or other metal by means of Ar plasma and stacking dispersed grains on the substrate transparent to the energy beams. The use of a metal used for the formation of the recording film 12 as a metal constituting the layer 11 is convenient because the production cost is not so increased and bad influence due to the mixing of the metal into the recording film 12 can be removed. Since the recording film 12 can be formed as a film having high absorptivity independently of its reflection factor, the high SN ratio of a reproducing signal can be obtained and high writing sensitivity can be also realized.
