PURPOSE:To improve filtration efficiency and to provide a filter machine which is less clogged by forming hollow cylindrical filter media of transversely laminated rings, forming annular grooves having communicating parts to the lower part of the opposed contact surfaces of said rings and communicating the annular opposed contact spacings with the annular grooves. CONSTITUTION:The hollow cylindrical filter media 1 are formed of the plural rings 4 laminated in the axial direction in an outside cylinder 2 and the annular grooves 5 are formed to the laminated and opposed contact surfaces of the rings 4. The communicating parts 6 are notched and formed to the lower parts of the grooves 5. A material is moved and compressed toward a cap 10 when a raw material is charged in a charging port 12 and a spiral 9 is thrned. The liquid component of the material passes the annular opposed contact spacings (t), advances into the grooves 5 and enters a separated liquid discharge part 3 from which the liquid is discharged to the outside. The solid component is pressed toward the cap 10 and is discharged to the outside. The filtration efficiency is greatly improved and the clogging is decreased by using such filter machine.
